Our third and final Polish heritage event takes place on Saturday 6th December. It’s the last chance to share your stories of Polish migration with us.

First there was the Polish buffet at Miod Malina on Walthamstow High Street (pictured), then we gathered at St Patrick’s Church on Blackhorse Road. Each time we met more people with remarkable stories of how their families ended up in Walthamstow.
For our third and final outreach event we’re going back to Miod Malina, and invite you to join us for some pierogi and storytelling. Join us from 5pm. Free food and drink are provided.
If you’re unable to attend the event, but would still like to share your story, please get in touch. The stories we collect will form part of an important historical archive at Vestry House Museum, to be enjoyed by generations to come.
It’s been a great pleasure listening to so many, and such a diverse range of stories about migration. I’m sure there are a few more out there that are waiting to be told.
